- My end plan on the business is to sell it. I did not necessarily want to sell it for a large return. As long as I make something out of it I will be happy.
- I have chosen to sell the business one it takes off because my main goal with the business is to promote fitness and help individuals have a healthier lifestyle. I do no want to do it for the money. By selling it as it takes off I can let a company that has access to highly intelligent individuals that can work out the kinks in the app and trouble shoot it. They can even code it differently to make it more effective. My goal in life is to become a sports performance trainer with my own facility therefore the app is not essential in my life.
- Because I am not looking for a large return in my business when I sell it, I do not plan on using that much money to start it. I will be trying to do everything on my own with my own resources. That way when I decide to sell the business I will not be taking any financial hits.

I really like the way that you think about other and how you put other ahead. I truly hope your business venture becomes successful. I think, however, you could have elaborated more in this post like you do in your other post. Other than that, the post was very good! Keep up the good work as there is only two more assignments to go!
ReplyDeleteHello Larry,
ReplyDeleteWhy would you sell your business and not look into a partnership or just finding a board of directors to invest in your business and control it with you still having a say about the direction of the business and the personality of the business. You say that you would sell it because you are not greedy. So you will sell the business to get it off your hands to someone else that will plague it with greed and possibly send your business in a completely different direction that actually becomes the opposite of what you envisioned.
Hey Larry, I too would like to sell my business. Like you, it is not the most important thing in my life, nor what I'd like to spend my life working on. We have other ambitions, and that is great. You are smart not to spend too much money on the start-up, that way you can't lose much either. Being a sports performance trainer is a great career, and I'm sure you will have much success. Good luck in your future.
